Do you know God gave you the interests He did for a reason?
It could be that He loves sharing Himself with you through those things, like my fascination with flowers.
It could be that the enjoyment you get from those things makes Him happy.
It could be that He plans to use them to connect you with someone else that needs to be blessed by you or bless you in some way.
God doesn’t waste neat stuff, so don’t dismiss those interests as selfish or unimportant. They serve a purpose.
And believe it or not, in HIS eyes, you finding joy in them is a solid purpose.
Go forth, be quirky, enjoy yourself, and make God smile!
